Watching now. I watched a few minutes of this Saturday night but the UFC was on, so I was more into the fights on that night. However, Peewee is great, and always has been.

Gary Busey is guest starring…lol, awesome.
LOL… its an Afghan version of American Idol.
And LOL @ the taliban outlawing music.
it reminds me of when I once heard someone say “I don’t like music” … what? How the hell can someone not like music of any kind?
Judging from the previews, this will possibly be the best comedy series on HBO in ever. Danny McBride has been hilarious in pretty much everything I’ve ever seen him in, and now mix in executive produce Will Ferrell, and what sounds like a funny plot, it should be greatness.
Relief Pitcher Kenny Powers was poised to rule the Big Leagues, but two things got in the way: his fading fastball and his insufferable personality. After a spectacular career flame-out, Kenny came home to Shelby County, NC and picked up a job as a substitute gym teacher (mostly so his brother Dustin would stop threatening to kick him out). He’s spent every moment since then cashing in the last of his dying fame while plotting his inevitable comeback… one beer at a time.
‘Eastbound & Down’ is the latest project to come out of Will Ferrell and Adam McKay’s comedic goldmine Gary Sanchez Productions, which also launched FunnyOrDie.com. Starring Danny McBride (‘Pineapple Express’), Katy Mixon (‘Four Christmases’), John Hawkes (‘Deadwood’) and a host of other talented comedians, ‘Eastbound & Down’ was created by McBride along with two friends from film school: Jody Hill and Ben Best. The hilarious new series was shot on location in North Carolina and also includes a few guest appearances by Ferrell as a local car dealer with marvelous hair. Â
I posted about this movie previously, after watching it on DVD. The Assassination Of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford will be on HBO tonight at 9pm.
I can’t believe I got addicted to watching a show about vampires, but I did. HBO often puts out some great original programming, and True Blood is a good show. Vampires, shapeshifters, demons, all in a rural Louisiana setting! Awesome. Sure, it’s probably not beneficial for the world as a whole, it’s a rather immoral show and will undoubtedly contribute to the desensitizing of viewers. I heard HBO signed on for 2 more seasons.
Anyway, as I wrote in a previous post, Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) is sexy, even if she is a vampire lover. Last night was the season finale, and I find out I have to wait until friggin’ next summer for season two. Damn.
WARNING: Spoilers ahead! Don’t read if you haven’t kept up with the show! Continue reading
I’ve been watching this show. It’s about vampires in Louisiana. The show treats vampires as though they are another race of people, they’re fighting for “vampire rights” and stuff like that. I only started watching it because Anna Paquin is hot. Unfortunately, on the show she plays the character of Sookie Stackhouse, and she is a vampire-lover. Oh, and she can “hear” whatever someone is thinking (except for vampires).
As part of the plot, True Blood is the name of a Japanese scientist’s invention of synthetic blood, which has allowed vampires have progressed from legendary monsters to fellow citizens overnight because they no longer have to suck human blood. And while humans have been safely removed from the vampire menu, many remain apprehensive about these creatures “coming out of the coffin.”
Yeah, I would too.
Religious leaders and government officials around the world have chosen their sides, but in the small town of Bon Temps, Louisiana the jury is still out.
Anyway, I’m about to go watch tonights episode now, I recorded it earlier. Also, I’m going to go cut a piece of blueberry cream cheesecake first, because I’m hungry, and because blueberry cream cheesecake rules.
