VANCOUVER, British Columbia – Police are asking for the public’s help in locating actor Andrew Koenig, who had a recurring role on the 1980s sitcom “Growing Pains.”
Vancouver police say Koenig was visiting friends in West Vancouver when he went missing. He was last seen on Feb. 14.
A statement released by the police department says Koenig “has recently been despondent and his family and friends are concerned for his well-being.”
Koenig, 41, lives in Venice, Calif., but at one time lived in Vancouver. He is the son of Walter Koenig, who played Chekov on the “Star Trek” television series and movies.
On “Growing Pains” Koenig played Boner, a pal of star Kirk Cameron’s character Mike.
I admit I haven’t been watching Jimmy Fallon’s late night show much, but I have heard about his attempt to reunite the cast of Saved By The Bell…and that is awesome. Equally as awesome was Mark Paul Gosselaar appearing on Jimmy Fallon’s show in character as Zach Morris.
As soon as I heard about the potential reunion, I immediately thought that they won’t be able to get Dustin Diamond to commit, because he is such a bitter douchebag without any kind of people-skills.
Also, Tiffani Amber-Thiessen was a tough one toget to commit, but its only because she has a “shit-ton” of other stuff going on right now, including training for the UFC, as she says in the video below from FunnyOrDie. However, Tiffani has since agreed to be a part of the reunion, and that now just leaves Dustin Diamond (aka Screech) as a holdout.
Whaddya think is IN the burgers? Seriously, I didn’t realize this dude was 84 years old…I guess I’m getting old myself, because You Can’t Do That On Television was a big part of my early TV watching days. Les Lye actually played many characters on the show, but I remember him best as Barth’s Burgers.
This old scientist muppet is mixing potions while he sings Time In A Bottle. As he guzzles the drinks, he gets younger and younger. Like Mork from Ork, but not really like Mork.
Serious question. There was some children’s TV show back in the late 1970’s or early 1980’s, I used to watch it when I was a kid, and I’m pretty sure it came on the same channel as Sesame Street, Electric Company, Mr. Rogers, etc…
I can’t remember the name of the damn show, but it was about some old dude who owned a toy store, and at night after the toy store closed, the toys came to life. I specifically remember a tricycle that rode around the store by itself. It seams like the old dudes name was Mr. Bean, but I might be wrong about that. No, I know it’s not the same Mr. Bean characted portrayed by Rowan Atkinson.
