The Reaping

Meh.. I don’t really have high expectations for horror movies, but sometimes give them a try. So far there is stereotypical negative comments about southerners. Anyway, 20 mins into the movie, it’s about a young girl turning a swampy river into blood. “You gonna be OK if i leave you alone for awhile?” LOL… as usual, the dumbasses split up from eachother after entering the swamp. Typical horror movie. I bet their walky-talkies quit working before the movie is over…and how long will the black guy stay alive?

It’s raining frogs. And flies. I see this is gonna be about the Biblical plagues or something…yes, i rarely read a movies description before i put it in the dvd player.. well, i read them when i add them to my online queue, but i dont remember what the movies are about by the time i get them in the mail. I keep a few hundred movies in my queue.

Anyway, the movie wasnt terrible. And I’m posting this from my awesome kickass new Motorola Droid phone, kicking ass.

The Buried Life on MTV

I am hoping this show is as good as I expect it to be. The show is a reality/documentary thing done in MTV style, and it follows a group of friends who have a list of things they want to experience before they die. They hit the road in a bus and intend to do one good deed for a stranger, for every item they accomplish on their own list.

First thing they try is to crash a party at the Playboy mansion, in a cake, dressed as Oompa Loompas. They succeed. The show might be a bit planned, as they seemed to have a camera person inside the party with them, but i’m not going to let that bother me. To do a good deed for a stranger, the guys became street performers to raise money to buy a new computer for a school classroom, which was the wish of a man who happened to be a schoolteacher they met walking down the street.

After seeing the first episode, I think this is a show worth watching. I think the idea of the show is good. I think people should experience as much of the world as they can before they die. We only get a limited time on Earth.
