VH1’s “New York Goes To Work”…

Posted by admin on 29th June 2009

or whatever the hell its called, I haven’t been watching it, but I know who “New York” is from the first Flavor Flav show on VH1, and I think she is a dumb bitch. I am watching tonights show, however, because she will be boxing some people, so I’m of course hoping to see someone knock her ass out, but unfortunately I imagine VH1 won’t let the fights get too violent.

Michael Jackson Dead at Age 50

Posted by admin on 25th June 2009

The news is reporting that “The King Of Pop” Michael Jackson is dead at age 50. This is a shocker to me, one I didn’t see coming. However, I’ve wondered before how long Michael Jackson would live, I never really thought he would live to be an old man. Regardless, he was indeed a talented human being, albeit a bit weird. RIP Michael Jackson.

Wow, this is a busy week for celebrity deaths.

RIP Ed McMahon

Posted by admin on 25th June 2009

I’m a little late in recognizing the passing of a legend, but RIP Ed McMahon. Did you know he was a badass fighter pilot in WW2? From his Wikipedia page:

During World War II, McMahon was a fighter pilot in the United States Marine Corps serving as a flight instructor and test pilot. He was a decorated pilot (six Air Medals) and was discharged in 1946, remaining in the reserves.

After college, McMahon returned to active duty. He was sent to Korea in February 1952. He flew unarmed OE-1 Bird Dogs on 85 tactical air control and artillery spotting missions. He remained in the Marine Corps Reserve, retiring with the rank of Colonel in 1966 and was then commissioned as a Brigadier General in the California Air National Guard.

Ice Road Truckers, Hot New Chick

Posted by admin on 23rd June 2009

I watched the first season of this show because it sounded cool that these big rig truckers drive over frozen lakes up near the North Pole, but it was all big fat guys. This season, they’re somewhere in Alaska driving on ice, but they have a hot new trucker chick named Lisa Kelly. Here are pictures.

Jon & Kate Getting A Divorce

Posted by admin on 23rd June 2009

Meh.. she’s always seemed kinda bitchy to me, but I never really watched the show much. Regardless, it’s a shame for the kids to have to go through this. I imagine the shows ratings will go downhill after tonights episode, as it was kind of the climax of their marital problems? Unless of course sometime in the future they decide to get re-married, for the ratings. :)

Long Time No Post

Posted by admin on 18th June 2009

Yeah, I was worried my MySQL Database was filling up, but I found the problem and corrected it, so all is well, and maybe I will post more frequently now. I’m currently packaging some stuff to mail, while I watch a recorded episode of The Deadliest Catch from last night.
