Rosie O’Donnell: Still A Hideous Pig and Her Ratings Sucked

Posted by admin on 29th November 2008

I can’t stand Rosie O’Donnell, I had forgot all about her having a variety show on NBC called Rosie Live! this week on Wednesday night, until I saw the headling on TVGuide.com about her saying there would be no more variety shows from her, indicating that the ratings sucked and the show had horrible reviews.

I am very thankful that she will have no more variety shows. It would be nice to never see her dumbass on TV again. I think even Donald Trump once said “She has failed at everything she has done.”

Here is the article text from TVGuide:

Christmas has come early. Just days after her Rosie Live! turned up DOA in the Nielsens (as well as in countless critics and viewers’ notebooks), Rosie O’Donnell has written off her NBC variety show as a one-trick pony.

Ro wrote in her blog, “there will b no more,” responding to one fan’s inquiry as to the possibility of follow-up variety shows in 2009. Alluding to “no ratings” and “bad reviews” as factors in her decision, O’Donnell maintains that the experiment was “still a thrill 4 me.”

Elsewhere in her reader forum, O’Donnell acknowledged that “a live show has risks” and said, “i am happy 2 have had the opportunity.”

Rosie Live! mustered a mere five million viewers in its Thanksgiving Eve broadcast — falling shy of even Knight Rider’s worst performance to date in the time slot.

HBO’s “True Blood” Season Finale

Posted by admin on 24th November 2008

I can’t believe I got addicted to watching a show about vampires, but I did. HBO often puts out some great original programming, and True Blood is a good show. Vampires, shapeshifters, demons, all in a rural Louisiana setting! Awesome. Sure, it’s probably not beneficial for the world as a whole, it’s a rather immoral show and will undoubtedly contribute to the desensitizing of viewers. I heard HBO signed on for 2 more seasons.

Anyway, as I wrote in a previous post, Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) is sexy, even if she is a vampire lover. Last night was the season finale, and I find out I have to wait until friggin’ next summer for season two. Damn.

WARNING: Spoilers ahead! Don’t read if you haven’t kept up with the show! Read the rest of this entry »

24: Redemption

Posted by admin on 23rd November 2008

I’ve watched 24 since the beginning, but I probably won’t be watching it tonight. I’ll record it and watch it later in the week, just not tonight. I’d rather watch The Amazing Race on CBS instead.

Celebrity Rehab Season Two

Posted by admin on 21st November 2008

One thing I’ve determined from this season of Celebrity Rehab, is that Rod Stewart’s son, Sean Stewart, is a little girl. What an overly dramatic pussy he is. On this weeks episode he got involved in some kind of argument between Gary Busey and Jeff Conaway, went on a tantrum yelling at Busey later, and then when Busey went to talk to him and stumbled a little bit, Sean Stewart went telling everyone he was “attacked”…lol.

He told Busey later that if he touched him again he would call police, and that back in the day he handled things differently (insinuating he once kicked peoples asses). Spoiled little rich kid. Like everyone else, he needed an excuse for why he was a drug addict, and says its because his daddy wasn’t around when he was growing up. Come on dude, maybe it sucked not having your dad around all the time, growing up in California mansions and riding around in expensive cars, but you should just admit the real reason you used drugs is because they were fun.

On a positive note, Steven Adler seems like a genuinely cool dude, who had some legit problems in his childhood. Rodney King is also surprisingly chill.

Movie: “Funny Games” (2007)

Posted by admin on 18th November 2008

Man I swear, I really hope people are not as stupid as the stupid idiots in this movie. I can tell you, the movie would have been over before 20 minutes if some shit like that happened in my life. I would have shot the bastards full of lead, bad situation ended. This is why I generally hate “horror” movies or whatever you want to classify Funny Games as. The movie has Tim Roth and Naomi Watts in it, so I thought I’d give it a chance. Unfortunately Tim Roth plays the pussiest character I’ve ever seen. What a pussy. The Young@Heart Choir

Posted by admin on 15th November 2008

Ok, I watched this documentary about the Young @ Heart Choir, which is a group that some dude put together of old people who sing rock songs. Before you think it’s just a movie about old people singing, it’s really pretty good.  The movie is funny, and sometimes emotional. I think it’s cool, because it gives these old folks a chance to travel and tour all around the world. Of course, one of the unfortunate things about a band full of old people, is that the members go & come as often as the members of Menudo. Check out the movie trailer video below, and then below it you can watch one of the old dudes sing Fix You by Coldplay, while hooked up to an oxygen machine.

CHA$E on Sci-Fi

Posted by admin on 13th November 2008

I watched the first episode of Cha$e on the Sci-Fi network, and it seems like something I’ll watch again. Strangely, my TV Guide described it as a “reality show” — and it’s on Sci-Fi…but so is some fake ass wrasslin’ show. Anyway, Cha$e seems pretty good, I’d like to be on that show. The premise is basically that it’s a real-life video game thing, where they put a group of contestants in an area that is patrolled by “hunters” whose duty it is to hunt the contestants and kill them. Well, they don’t actually kill them, they just touch them, but I remember that movie called Surviving The Game with Ice-T, it was pretty cool.

Here is the description of Cha$e from Scifi.com:

CHA$E, an action-packed, edge-of-your-seat reality show, pits Runners against each other on life sized “game boards” in the quest for cash. But in order to win, they must avoid being caught by the relentless Hunters who stalk them during the games.

All is fair in competition and money. Some will be savvy and others will be sacrificed.

The action takes place throughout various locations in Los Angeles like San Pedro Harbor, Universal Theme Park and the Descanso Gardens.

In CHA$E Runners must also be conscious of their time. As the clock counts down, the tasks get harder and the Hunters grow more insistent.Every second they go uncaught leads them closer to winning a cash prize of up to $50,000. Tune in to find out who will escape the chase.

I meant to watch Estate of Panic on Sci-Fi tonight too, but I forgot.

Transsiberian (or Trans Siberian, whatever)

Posted by admin on 13th November 2008

Transsiberian is a very good movie. The plot is horrible, as in, don’t go to Siberia and be stupid. The movie kept me interested from beginning to end. Here is the Netflix description:

An American couple (Woody Harrelson and Emily Mortimer) seeking to smooth out their rough marriage buys a ticket on the legendary Trans-Siberian Railway. But a chance meeting with two other passengers ends in an accidental murder and high intrigue. Ben Kingsley and Thomas Kretschmann co-star as two Russian police officers trying to solve the baffling case in Brad Anderson’s taut and gritty thriller.

As in most thriller/horror movies, nearly all of the drama in the movie could have been avoided, if it weren’t for stupid people. Let me give you some advice, if you travelling with someone to foreign lands that you are not familiar with, don’t get separated from eachother. Husbands, you’re an idiot if you let your wife out of your site at a train stop in Siberia. Also, this advice is for stupid sluts: Don’t go into the woods with some random dude you met on a train in Siberia.

50 Cent: The Money and the Power

Posted by admin on 7th November 2008

Wow. MTV actually gave rapper 50 Cent a reality show, in the style of Donald Trump’s The Apprentice… and I actually watched it. Damn.

What a group of stupid people (or as most of the contestants would say “stupit”). During the first challenge of the show, the teams were chained together and told to run from one location in the city to another part of the city. In the process, one of the teams knocked down an old lady on the sidewalk. After knocking down the old lady, the entire team decided to scream and yell about whether they should keep going or stop to help the old lady. They kept going. Fucking scumbags.

How were these contestants picked? I’m guessing it was not because of their business acumen. Most of the contestants seriously seem like some of the dumbest ass people in the world.

One black girl got in an argument with an Asian girl, and told her to “come paint my nails, bitch”…awesome, racism is on the show too.

In the end of the first episode, 50 Cent eliminated the Asian girl, and kept the racist black girl.

One of these idiots is going to be given $100,000 dollars.

I hate MTV.

Obama Talks About His “Muslim Faith” — What The? (VIDEO)

Posted by admin on 2nd November 2008

Seriously dude, this is a pretty bad slip-up for him to make while running for President of The United States. I think it’s old video, but it’s the first time I’ve seen it. Here is Barrack Hussein Obama mentioning “my muslim faith” to George Stephanopoulos.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Posted by admin on 2nd November 2008

I watched the newest Indiana Jones movie this weekend on DVD. Not long after it started, I wondered if I would enjoy the movie, because of the slightly ridiculous scene where he throws the gunpowder in the air and it travels to a magnet all the way across the room. Nonsense. However, I still sat back and kept watching the movie, and I’m glad I did. It was actually pretty damn good. I would have to say it’s probably as good as the previous Indiana Jones films, although it’s been a few years since I watched them. I’ll probably watch them again sometime soon.

Ghost Hunters Live: Fort Delaware

Posted by admin on 1st November 2008

Happy Halloween!

Also, I can’t believe I recorded 7 hours of the Ghost Hunters Live show on Sci-Fi. I know they’re not going to find anything, at least not what I consider “finding” something. I’m sure they’ll get tons of hits on their infrared and thermal cameras, etc… but it always seems like the camera filming the show is always fixated on the hunters, and not the surroundings, so instead of getting to see anything, we always just see the hunter startled and say something like “did you hear that?” or “did you see that?” — hell no we didn’t see it because the damn camera was filming YOU.

The show is having horrible audio and video problems so far. Probably because of the ghosts, right?

I’m obviously a bit of a skeptic, although I do believe in paranormal/supernatural occurrences, I just don’t really believe in these ghost hunting shows. I think I could grab a thermal camera and go walk around my property and make an interesting ghost hunt as well. Maybe not, I don’t know. I will watch tonights show and enjoy it, simply for the history if nothing else. I enjoy history, and I enjoy seeing the various places (in this case, Fort Delaware) that these shows go.

Man, they just encountered some “voice” that told them they were “not supposed to be here.” It honestly sounded like a fake movie electronic voice, and the whole scene seemed scripted for television.

This is so much horseshit. One of the ghost hunters just told a ghost that the little EMF detector would “not harm you or burn you in any way”…how the hell does he know what will hurt a ghost? LOL.

There is also some dude that came into the room while the Ghost Hunters were “investigating”, so they asked him to leave. A few minutes later they start talking to the ghost again, and ask the ghost to knock on something to answer them. Sure enough, they hear a knock. Of course, to me, it sounded like it came from where the random dude came into the room a few minutes ago. We know there are people in the VERY NEXT ROOM, why the hell should I believe that knocking sound came from a friggin’ ghost and not the people in the next room?

I can’t believe I’m wasting my time watching this crap.

There are “guest investigators” on the show, who I assume are some kind of celebrities on the Sci-Fi cchannel. One of the hosts keeps asking the girl celebrity chick if she is OK and he’s acting like she is terrified, he says he’s not sure if she’ll make it through the night without a heart-attack. However, the chick does NOT seem scared about anything at all, she seems bored to be there.

I can’t watch 7 hours of this.

Jimmy Kimmel Is Such A Shill For Barack Obama

Posted by admin on 1st November 2008

Seriously, dude is my favorite late-night talk show host, and I went for years without missing a single episode, but there is no doubt he is clearly bias against John McCain. Every time I watch his show lately, he does a huge number of jokes about McCain/Palin in a funny, but negative, way. On the flipside, if he does anything funny about Obama, it’s in a positive way. Of course, it seems to be like this everywhere on television, whether it’s Saturday Night Live or anything else. Even tonight on Kimmel, during his annual half & half halloween costume pageant (where people are dressed as half one thing and half another) they had a cross dressing, cigarette smoking old man called “Olivia Newton John McCain” — and for Barack Obama, he was a superhero called “Baraqua Man”.
