Holy Crap, Marie Osmond Just Passed Out and Fell Down On Live TV

No, I won’t admit that I was watching Dancing With The Stars, but I just saw Marie Osmond being interviewed and all the sudden she squealed and fell down, they showed her laying on the floor for a few seconds, but then immediately went to a commercial break.

Fortunately they came back and announced Marie Osmond was okay, and she went ahead and gave an interview, she said she passes out sometimes when she gets short of breath or something.

VH1′s I Love New York

Absolutely a great show. Last years was good, this years might be better. The breakout star of the show is without a doubt Midget Mac, a little person who New York will probably have sex with at some point during the show. Epic. Although I will say, if it weren’t for the fact he is a little person, he probably wouldn’t be as entertaining as “Mr. Boston” on last season’s “I Love New York” This years show is on Mondays at 9pm.

Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye

Picked this DVD up the other day. I was a big Transformers kid back in the day, as I think all boys were in the 1980′s. I remember the first Transformers movie came out (animated), I collected the comics, action figures, everything.

After the first few minutes of the movie I decided I wasn’t going to like it. I figured it was my own fault because I feel like I’m kinda jaded about movies these days, and I’m not sure why that is, but it’s hard for me to get into a fiction movie or anything really unbelievable. HOWEVER, I made myself keep watching Transformers, and I must admit, I ended up enjoying it and by the end of the movie I decided I really liked it a lot.

Optimus Prime is still awesome, and now I find myself wanting to go out and buy a cool Optimus Prime action figure somewhere, but I think I’ll hold back from doing so.

Air Guitar Nation

I accidently spotted this DVD on the shelf at Blockbuster while browsing their new releases. I like documentaries, and this one is about air guitar competitions. Characters like Bjorn Turoque and C-Diddy are the stars of the movie. The air guitarists are a little crazy, I watched the whole DVD including the extras, one dude says that he sees no difference in an air guitarist and a real guitarist.. LOL. Sure buddy, I say he’s nuts, but it still makes for an interesting film, however, I think it was enough air guitar for a lifetime. You won’t find me paying to attend an air guitar show. Well, now that I’ve said that I’ll probably have to eat my words one day, but I doubt it.

Stephen King’s 1408 (John Cusack, Samuel L. Jackson)

Not a bad movie, as far as horror movies go. I really don’t know why I choose to keep renting horror movies though, it’s hard for me to get into them because some of them are so unbelievable and the characters are usually supremely stupid.

This movie was a bit of the same thing, there are some parts that just make you wonder who in the hell would even think something is believeable. For an example, there is a scene where the main character (Cusack) is calling his wife for help, he tells her where he is, that he is dying, and he needs her to call police. Ok, so what does this stupid bitch do? She says something like “wait a minute, slow down, you’re not making any sense.” Uhh, what bitch? How the hell did he not make sense? He told you exactly where he was, that he was dying, and that he wanted you to call police. How can someone not make sense out of that?

Anyway, I guess I should just watch the movies and not let those things piss me off, but they do. The ending to this movie kinda pissed me off too. I’m not sure what to think of it.

On a sidenote, every time I see John Cusack and a White Sox hat it makes me think of the movie “Stand By Me”, which is probably my favorite movie ever and also another Stephen King novel.

Knocked Up Reservoir Dogs

Reservoir Dogs is an all-time classic, I re-watched it again this weekend.

I also watched Knocked Up, which is indeed hilarious.

I rented “A New Wave” (a crime comedy) because it looked like it would be good, it wasn’t as good as I had hoped. It has the guy from The Office in it (John Krasinski).

Live Free Or Die

Just rented this movie, fantastic.. I love this kind of movie, basically it’s about an idiot named Rugged Rudgate, and his quest to be a legendary outlaw. Also, Zooey Deschanel is in it, and she is always worth watching. Michael Rappaport is a good actor in almost everything too. Oh and did I mention Zooey Deschanel is in it? Other than that, the movie stars some relatively unknown actors, but they’re perfect for their roles.
